A doctor is always contactable between 08:00am and 6:30pm on the phone. If you ring outside these times, you will hear a tape recorded message which will tell you how to contact a doctor. This is for emergencies only.
Our extended hours clinics are held between 07:00am – 08:00am on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Additional phlebotomy appointments are also provided between 07:30am - 08:00am on Tuesdays and Fridays.
All extended hours appointments (before 08:00am) are for pre-booked appointments only.
When We Are Closed
Call the surgery number to hear a taped message which will tell you how to contact a doctor.
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS 111 (by dialling 111 from your telephone), who will then direct you to the relevant service - Ambulance, OOH's GP, Own GP, Urgent Care Centre and so on.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally.
Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:
Treat yourself at home
Go to a Primary Care Centre
If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
